BLUE NILE DIAMOND UPGRADE PROGRAM
Overview of the Upgrade Policy:
Blue Nile is pleased to offer a lifetime diamond upgrade program on all IGI and GIA-graded diamonds. Simply call a Diamond & Jewelry Consultant at 1-888-565-7641 to learn more about our upgrade program and to select your new diamond.
Contact a Diamond Expert to Upgrade
• All IGI- and GIA-graded colorless diamonds purchased from Blue Nile are eligible. All other diamonds, including colored diamonds, are ineligible. Upgrades are available on a like-for-like basis (e.g., lab-grown for lab-grown or natural for natural).
• Upon review, you may receive a credit up to the original purchase price to use toward the purchase of a new diamond with a purchase price of at least twice the purchase price of your original diamond.
• You may upgrade one diamond for multiple diamonds, or vice versa, so long as the price of your new selection(s) is at least twice the price of your originally purchased diamond(s).
• Damage to the original diamond may impact the credit received toward the purchase of a new diamond(s) or may disqualify the diamond from the upgrade program.
• The Blue Nile Diamond Upgrade Program is available for purchases shipped to the U.S. Please contact us to discuss whether an upgrade is available for purchases shipped to countries outside of the U.S.
• The original diamond grading report must be returned in reusable condition. Fees may apply for damaged or missing reports.
• For rings: If your setting fits your new diamond and is in reusable condition, we will set your new diamond in your original setting. If your original setting cannot be reused, it will be returned to you.
• For earrings and pendants: We are unable to reuse your original settings and cannot offer credit for them. They will be returned to you at the same time as the receipt of your new order.
• Any diamond not originally set by Blue Nile must be returned without the setting.
• Upgrade credits may not be combined with any other discounts, coupons, or promotions.
• Your original diamond must be returned to us and accepted by our Quality Assurance department before your new selection is shipped.
• Personalized jewelry, custom orders, engraved items, items resized after initial purchase, Diamond Upgrade Program purchases, clearance items, and “Final Sale” items are not eligible for return or exchange.
